Mr. Afolabi holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Geology from Tulane University, New Orleans and a dual Master’s Degree in Energy Management from the University of Pennsylvania, USA and the French Petroleum Institute (IFP), France. He began his career in TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Limited in 1992 as an Economist. He has held several key technical and managerial positions within the TotalEnergies Group and was appointed to the Boards of TotalEnergies Upstream Nigeria Limited and TotalEnergies EP Nigeria Limited respectively on 21st September, 2016. He was recently appointed Executive Director, Strategy, Business & Asset Management.
