Adetayo Bamiduro

Adetayo Bamiduro is a visionary technology entrepreneur and the CEO and Co-founder of MAX, a leading sustainable mobility company revolutionizing transportation across Africa. With a focus on decarbonizing the mobility sector, Adetayo pioneered the Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) vehicle subscription model, democratizing access to electric vehicles and significantly enhancing affordability within Africa’s $220 billion mobility industry. Under his leadership, MAX has facilitated over 45,000 vehicle subscriptions across 18 cities, reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 550,000 tonnes, and established a pipeline of 270,000 users in a market of 16 million underserved drivers. 

 Adetayo’s mission is to transform Africa’s mobility landscape by providing drivers with affordable, sustainable access to electric motorcycles, three-wheelers, and cars. He empowers them to own productive assets and achieve economic independence. Through MAX, he is committed to reducing unemployment, improving earnings for drivers, and creating pathways to wealth through increased productivity. 

His expertise spans mobility, sustainable development, electric vehicles, venture strategy, and scaling high-impact businesses. Adetayo is a TED Fellow, Endeavor Entrepreneur, MIT alumnus, and Techstars Founder, recognized with numerous prestigious awards, including the Harambe Gold Award and the Mastercard Foundation Fellowship. Before co-founding MAX, he built an impressive career in software engineering, product management, and management consulting at leading firms such as PwC, Dalberg, Konga, UACN, and NLNG, a Shell subsidiary.
