Anita has over 25 years of oil industry experience and has worked for Shell and Foster Wheeler, where she rose to the position of Vice President for Sub-Saharan Africa, handling a regional work portfolio across seven African countries prior to leaving in April 2009.
Anita incorporated Deep Blue Energy Services Limited in May 2009 in response to the growing need for increased local content penetration and compliance in Nigeria’s energy sector. Under Anita’s leadership as the CEO, Deep Blue Energy Services has evolved to provide a diversified spectrum of technical solutions ranging from manpower support to specialist engineering services, with the company well-positioned for the next phase of growth in the new decade.
Anita is a leading voice in the Nigeria upstream sector and remains passionate about mentoring young oil and gas professionals.
Anita is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Institute of Directors.
