Christian Nwabuikwu is a seasoned Supply Chain, Logistics, and Procurement professional with a background in Civil Engineering and over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Supply Chain Management Consultant, Christian specializes in supply chain lifecycle management, focusing on
high-value international contracts, proposals, bid evaluations, and post-contract award management.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Lagos and a Master’s degree in Global Supply Chain Management from the University of Nottingham, Christian brings a unique blend of technical knowledge and strategic insight to his work. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and
Supply (MCIPS) and holds a Professional Facility Management Certificate (FMP) from the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).
Throughout his career, Christian has held leadership positions with prominent organizations such as Royal Dutch Shell, BW Offshore, and DHL. His experience spans multiple countries, including Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon, and the United Kingdom, giving him a global perspective on supply chain management.
At Royal Dutch Shell, Christian held several key supply chain managerial positions: as Senior Contracts Manager for Production Services, he managed contract portfolios exceeding $350 million; as Category Manager for Well Construction Services, he excelled in strategic supplier relationship management and contract negotiations;
and as Head of Real Estate & Infrastructure Services for Nigeria, he managed a budget portfolio of $2.5 Billion and oversaw 400+ facility personnel across multi-location offices and residential properties.
As Supply Chain Manager at BW Offshore, he directed procurement, logistics, and inventory management for offshore assets, focusing on Total Cost of Ownership and Life Cycle Cost optimization. As Logistics Manager at DHL UK, he focused on COY BOND Systems administration, package shipments coordination, and supply chain
operations. A skilled leader and mentor, Christian has managed diverse teams and consistently fostered a culture of excellence and innovation. His combination of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and global experience makes him a valuable asset in the field of supply chain management with contracting expertise in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry.
