Eyono Fatayi-Williams is the General Manager External Relations and Sustainable Development of Nigeria LNG Limited and is responsible for the management of the company’s reputation and social performance in keeping with its vision of being a global LNG company helping to build a better Nigeria. She has several years of working experience in leadership positions in the manufacturing, security printing and banking industry sectors prior to joining the oil and gas industry over 23 years ago. She has held several management positions in Nigeria LNG.
Eyono is an alumna of the University of Lagos and Leeds Metropolitan University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Corporate Governance respectively. She has attended several management and leadership courses including the executive general and advanced management programmes of Cranfield University and INSEAD Business School respectively. She enjoys the membership of several professional and industry associations including the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, the Nigerian Gas Association and the Women In Energy Network (WIEN) Nigeria where she is a board member amongst others and is also a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Mentor and Speaker.
Prior to her current role, she was Nigeria LNG’s first Nigerian IT and Telecoms Manager, instrumental to developing and implementing a solid foundation and unified IT and Telecoms platform for the company with a structure that became a model for the rest of the organisation. Following this, she was also the first Manager for the Commercial Administration of the Sales and Purchase Agreements of the company’s products after which she served as HR Manager was instrumental to implementing lifestyle and family friendly HR polices on leading edge work life alignment and balance practices which provided a good foundation for remote and virtual working.
She is known for her agility and creativity and is committed to capacity building to support people and communities actualise their aspirations to deliver value. She is an astute influencer, a dedicated technocrat with strategic focus on delivery of business value to stakeholders and is passionate about organisational effectiveness, good governance, and leadership development and to her credit, has led many game-changing initiatives.
Eyono was appointed General Manager, External Relations for Nigeria LNG Limited in May 2019 and is married with children.
