Oge has over 12 years of experience in the energy industry and is currently the Head of Commercial, Savannah Energy Nigeria and a Director of Accugas Limited. He has tripled the customer base over the last 3 years with $200mn in annual revenues and has responsibility for gas marketing/sales negotiations, agreements, contract management and project commercialisation for power and industrial customers.
Prior to this, he was instrumental in the project development, financing and commercial activities required to build the Accugas business in Nigeria with Seven Energy. He played a pivotal role in securing up to $225mn in project financing for the Accugas business to fund the construction of the Uquo gas project and delivery pipeline infrastructure for gas supply to thermal generation plants supplying the national grid and large-scale industries. In addition, he was also responsible for securing the only effective World Bank Partial Risk Guarantee for gas supply in Nigeria as payment security for $112mn worth of gas supply to the Calabar NIPP power plant.
Previously, Oge spent 4 years at ZAN Partners in the UK in various client facing and internal roles, building an asset management business with over $300mn in assets under management, providing hedge fund and other alternative investment products to High Net-Worth individuals.
Oge holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BEng in Information Systems Engineering from Imperial College London, United Kingdom. He also holds the Energy Risk Professional (ERP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.
