Oladipo is the Partner & Head of Oil, Gas & Power Group at Andersen in Nigeria.
Oladipo has over 21 years’ experience as an accountant and tax consultant. During the period, he worked on various commercial, tax (advisory and compliance) and financial accounting positions.
As a tax consultant, Oladipo rose to the position of Senior Manager in the Tax and Corporate Advisory Services of PwC and had a stint as an Associate Director in the Oil and Gas sector of EY.
In Addax Petroleum Development (Nigeria) Limited, he worked as the Budget Controller and as the Commercial, Tax & Lifting Manager. He led numerous teams on various tax engagements including acquisitions and divestments.
During his spell at an independent oil production company, he advised the company on commercial and tax impact of proposed and on-going projects, reviewed and negotiated new contracts and spearheaded the determination and reconciliation of entitlements (royalty, tax and profit oil) of the parties in the Production Sharing Contract (PSC).
Oladipo was instrumental in the training and development of accounting/tax papers for clients such as a large oil & gas company – a US$600million consortium operating a pipeline that passes across four countries.
