Nwogu Promise Chukwukadibia is a passionate leader dedicated to solving energy poverty in Africa and empowering the continent’s youth to lead the future of the global energy sector. With four years of experience in leadership roles and collaborations with international organisations, Promise has established himself as
a formidable force in the sustainability sector.
His vision is a just transition for Africa that ensures prosperity while tackling energy challenges. Promise is the Founder and President of the African Youths in Energy Network (AYEN), where he leads a team of volunteers from 7 different African countries to spearhead significant initiatives, including the First African Youths Energy Dialogue and a movie screening tour across Nigeria impacting over 2000 youths.
Additionally, as the Pioneer Founder of Student Energy at the Federal University of Technology Owerri, he led his team in impacting over 500 secondary school students using energy literacy programs.
Promise holds a Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. He is a Fellow of both the Student Energy Fellowship and the Oxford Climate School.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Promise is an active member of various organizations, including the Society of Petroleum Engineers, the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria, and the International Association of Engineers
