Sam Faleye is the Chairman & C.E.O. of SAGLEV INC, one of three co-founders of the Delaware, U.S.A. Incorporated Electric Vehicle Company focused on accelerating the conversion of Fossil Fuel Vehicles to Zero-Emission Vehicles in emerging markets by partnering with rideshare and fleet operators.
Sam believes the African diaspora is a fundamental part of growing African economies and must positively impact their continent of birth or naturalization with their acquired professional training, knowledge, and experience. Sam is a lifelong believer in climate change and the promise of renewable energy resources in solving the Earth’s climate calamities as a human responsibility and entrepreneurial opportunity. Dr. Faleye has successful business ventures in real estate and securities trading in the U.S.A.
In addition to being a Board-Certified Internist in Private Practice since 1998, he has a significant interest in Clinical Informatics. He is currently a Ph.D. Scholar at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis, Tennessee, where he is completing a Dissertation on the Influence of Healthcare Information Technology on Physician Burnout. Sam Faleye holds an M.D. from The University of Ilorin, Nigeria and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Howard University Hospital, Washington,DC. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians in 2005.
Sam is married to Dr. Adeola Faleye, an Orthodontist; they have three grown children together.
