Efuntomi is the Head, Legal at Oando Plc and has over 19 years’ professional cognitive experience in handling energy, mining, M&A, financing, corporate/commercial and dispute resolution transactions/matters. She started her career in one of Nigeria’s leading law firms – Banwo & Ighodalo, where she gained invaluable experience from various landmark transactions. Since she joined Oando Plc, she has played a key role in Oando’s major transactions including cross border international/local M&A and multimillion dollar financing. She now heads the Group’s legal services department and supervises the legal aspects of the group’s transactions.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law – LLB (Hons.) from University of Kent, England, a Master’s degree – LLM in Petroleum Law and Policy from the Center for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law & Policy, University of Dundee, Scotland; B.L. (Hons.) from the Nigerian Law School; and a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction in Innovation and Design Thinking from the Emeritus Institute of Management (in collaboration with MIT, Columbia Business School, and Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth).
She is also a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.
