Tosin George is a Project Manager at Open Energy Transition GmbH (OET) where she
supports the coordination and execution of open-source energy planning tools aimed at
strengthening energy system resilience. She currently leads the project management
delivery and rollout of an open-source energy modelling framework that assesses grid
stability under increasing renewable energy penetration, providing insights that inform
modern electricity-market reforms.
In Nigeria, she has contributed to more than 6 MW of commercial and industrial solar
installations and directed capacity-building programmes that have trained over 8,000 young
professionals across Nigeria and Ghana.
Tosin is also the founder of The Energy Africa, a platform dedicated to amplifying African
voices in clean energy and sustainability. She is committed to advancing energy transitions
through local leadership, innovation, and long-term impact.
